Ric McCluskey

Ric is a Financial Advisor that specializes in helping business owners with risk protection and asset management. He is a native of Greene County, Mississippi and a graduate of Greene County High School. Upon graduation, Ric enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After completion of boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, he was deployed to the North Babil Province, also known as the "Sunni Triangle of Death". Within a couple months of being deployed, he received a Combat Meritorious Promotion to Corporal. Ric was a frequent contributor to local newspapers during his time in Iraq. During the few hours of downtime that he had, he would document his experiences on the ground and try to relate them to the main political topics on the war at that time. Within months of returning home, Ric and his fellow Marines received orders for their second deployment. There was no preparation for the mission and it was unlike any other they would see because it was to the Gulf Coast. His unit was sent to aid New Orleans for recovery efforts after Hurricane Katrina. After four years in the Marine Corps, Ric received his Honorable Discharge. He then attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in Political Science and minored in History. In 2011, Ric began his career as a financial advisor which is what he does today while residing in Hattiesburg, Ms.
